Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Diamond Fleet Tech Network is recruiting an experienced Welder/Fabricator for an established environmental equipment operation in Chesapeake, Virginia.
This position requires someone who can do more than simply weld from a repetitive setup. They need a fabricator who can take accurate measurements, read blueprints and weld procedures, solve problems, and think through custom fabrication work.
What they’re looking for:
- MIG and stick welding certification
- Experienced with torch work
- Strong fabrication experience
- Accurate measuring skills
- Ability to read blueprints and weld procedures
- Comfortable solving non-routine fabrication problems
- Own welding helmet
- Own basic hand/mechanic tools
The employer provides FR-rated uniforms and welding consumables.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with a one-hour lunch.
Benefits: Health insurance, dental insurance, HSA, 401(k), paid vacation, and major holidays off.
Pay: $25–$28/hour depending on experience.
Qualified candidates selected by the employer will complete an onsite weld test in Chesapeake.
