DIESEL MOBILE SERVICE TECHNICIAN | CENTRAL ARKANSAS 4 Openings Diamond Fleet Tech Network (DFTN) is recruiting on behalf of Doggett Freightliner for an experienced Diesel Mobile Service Technician serving Central Arkansas and surrounding communities. This opportunity is designed for a productive diesel technician who enjoys working independently, diagnosing equipment in the field, and earning based on performance. Candidates located throughout the region are encouraged to apply, including technicians near Little Rock, North Little Rock, Hot Springs, Jonesboro, Batesville, Morrilton, Sheridan, Conway, Benton, Bryant, and surrounding Arkansas communities. WHY THIS DIESEL MOBILE SERVICE TECHNICIAN ROLE STANDS OUT • Take-home service truck • Company fuel card • Company-provided laptop and phone • Paid drive time to and from the dealership • Two-hour minimum on qualifying callouts • Time-and-a-half compensation for after-hours work • Schedule generally runs from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM • Additional earning opportunities through mobile and after-hours service • Shop repair work available when mobile volume slows • Successful technicians typically flag 40–50 hours or more per week • Paid time off begins accruing during the first year • Freightliner dealership environment with advanced diagnostic systems and career-development opportunities SIX-WEEK EARNINGS RAMP Doggett provides an introductory flagged-hour guarantee: • Weeks 1–2: 40 guaranteed hours per week • Weeks 3–4: 32 guaranteed hours per week • Weeks 5–6: 24 guaranteed hours per week Technicians can earn above the guaranteed hours based on completed work. WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A DIESEL MOBILE SERVICE TECHNICIAN • Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and commercial vehicles at customer locations • Perform electrical, engine, brake, suspension, aftertreatment, and drivability diagnostics • Travel to service calls in a company-provided service truck • Open, document, and complete repair orders accurately • Communicate professionally with customers and dealership personnel • Complete shop repair orders between mobile assignments • Provide dependable mobile service throughout Doggett’s Arkansas service territory WHAT DOGGETT IS LOOKING FOR • Strong diesel repair and diagnostic experience • Journeyman-level ability or equivalent hands-on experience • Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently • Experience working with commercial trucks or diesel equipment • Strong electrical and computer-based diagnostic skills • Professional communication and customer-service abilities • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet employer driving requirements • Personal tools appropriate for an experienced diesel technician • Freightliner, Detroit, Cummins, dealership, fleet, or field-service experience is valuable HOW TO APPLY THROUGH DFTN Apply using your Diamond Fleet Tech Network Tech Profile link.
