Doggett Freightliner in Springdale, Arkansas is hiring an experienced mobile diesel technician at $35–$40 per flagged hour, based on experience. This full-time opportunity combines independent field service, diesel diagnostics and repair, and a six-week introductory guarantee to help you get established. Diamond Fleet Tech Network (DFTN) is coordinating candidate introductions for this position. 𝗣𝗔𝗬 & 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 • Starting pay: $35–$40 per flagged hour, depending on experience and qualifications. • Approximately $45 per flagged hour may be available for an engine-certified master technician. • Flat-rate compensation pays for credited labor hours. Your flagged hours can differ from your hours on the clock. • The service manager reports that strong mobile technicians can flag 40–50 hours per week, sometimes more, depending on workload and productivity. This is earning potential, not a weekly guarantee. • When mobile demand is slower, shop assignments may be available to help maintain production. 𝗦𝗜𝗫-𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘 • Weeks 1–2: 40 guaranteed hours per week. • Weeks 3–4: 32 guaranteed hours per week. • Weeks 5–6: 24 guaranteed hours per week. The guarantee provides an initial transition period. After six weeks, compensation follows the regular flat-rate plan without an ongoing weekly hour guarantee. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨’𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢 • Diagnose and repair diesel trucks through mobile service assignments. • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical concerns in field-service settings. • Work independently and communicate repair findings clearly. • Open your own work orders and document diagnostics and completed repairs. • Support in-shop repair work when mobile assignments are slow and work is available. • Respond to after-hours service calls as required. 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘 & 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 • Full-time position based in Springdale, Arkansas. • Day shift with availability for after-hours callouts. • Mobile field service with shop work as needed. • A role suited to technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, independence, and varied repair assignments. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬’𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 • Journeyman-level diesel technician experience or higher. • Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently. • Strong communication, organization, and service documentation. • Dependability and willingness to handle field assignments and after-hours calls. • Engine-certified master technicians are encouraged to express interest.
