Job Description

𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚: Approximately 100-mile radius of Poteau Robinson Construction is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to support its equipment fleet throughout southeastern Oklahoma. This Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician will work primarily in the field, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heavy construction equipment at active job sites. Strong hands-on Caterpillar equipment experience is required. 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 • Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment in the field • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and mechanical issues • Perform scheduled maintenance and equipment-down repairs • Use CAT diagnostic systems and service information • Communicate repair status and equipment needs with shop and field teams • Travel throughout an approximately 100-mile radius of Poteau The ideal Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician is comfortable working independently, diagnosing difficult problems, and taking ownership of repairs from diagnosis through completion. 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 • Professional heavy equipment repair experience • Strong Caterpillar equipment experience required • Field service experience preferred • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus • Valid driver's license • Ability to work independently in the field 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 & 𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐓𝐒 • $30.00–$42.00 per hour based on experience • Overtime opportunities • Company service truck • Company fuel card • Company-paid uniforms • $1,200 annual tool allowance • Company-provided diagnostic laptop with CAT SIS and CAT ET • 10 days PTO plus company holidays • Health and vision benefits • 401(k) If you are an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician with strong Caterpillar experience and want a year-round field service opportunity based around Poteau, we want to hear from you.
