DIESEL MECHANIC | NORTH LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS Diamond Fleet Tech Network (DFTN) is recruiting on behalf of Doggett Freightliner for Diesel Mechanic positions at its North Little Rock location. Doggett is hiring diesel technicians across multiple experience levels. Compensation may be hourly or flat rate depending on the technician’s experience, skill level, and position. COMPENSATION AND EARNING OPPORTUNITY • Hourly positions: $20–$30 per hour based on experience • Flat-rate positions: $35–$40 per flagged hour based on experience • Master-level technicians may earn up to $45 per flagged hour • $2.00-per-hour differential for second shift • Successful flat-rate technicians typically work 40 hours and flag 40–50 hours per week • Day-shift and second-shift opportunities • Paid time off begins accruing during the first year • Freightliner dealership environment with advanced diagnostics and career-development opportunities SIX-WEEK FLAT-RATE EARNINGS RAMP Doggett provides an introductory flagged-hour guarantee for flat-rate technicians: • Weeks 1–2: 40 guaranteed hours per week • Weeks 3–4: 32 guaranteed hours per week • Weeks 5–6: 24 guaranteed hours per week Technicians can earn above the guaranteed hours based on completed work. WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A DIESEL MECHANIC • Diagnose, service, and repair diesel trucks and commercial vehicles • Perform engine, electrical, brake, suspension, steering, aftertreatment, and drivability diagnostics • Complete preventive maintenance and safety inspections • Use computer-based diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems • Document repairs and complete work orders accurately • Communicate with service leadership and other technicians • Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work area • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards WHAT DOGGETT IS LOOKING FOR • Diesel repair, maintenance, or diagnostic experience • Ability to inspect, diagnose, and complete repairs safely • Electrical and computer-based diagnostic ability • Experience with commercial trucks, fleet vehicles, or diesel equipment • Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail • Personal tools appropriate for the technician’s experience level • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet employer requirements • Freightliner, Detroit, Cummins, dealership, or fleet experience is valuable • Advanced and Master Diesel Mechanics are strongly encouraged to apply BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH DOGGETT FREIGHTLINER This Diesel Mechanic opportunity offers competitive hourly or flat-rate earning potential, multiple shifts, an introductory guarantee for flat-rate technicians, and the support of an established Freightliner dealership.
